Improve Swing Path.

This is a perfect way to improve your swing path. You probably have a golf club box laying around your garage, so grab it and head to the backyard or range.

Place a ball in the middle of the box as shown in the above photo. At first, keep the ball about 6 inches away from the box. Start with a 7 iron and take some swings.

Did you hit the box?

If you did then you have a swing path problem. Depending on where you hit the box, that’s where your path problem lies. If you hit the box coming down, you are coming over the top. If you hit the box on the exit, then you are swinging too much in to out. Keep practicing soft, little swings to avoid hitting the box. Once you are doing better, hit different clubs in your bag and graduate to the driver. If you can hit shots without hitting the box, your swing path is perfect!
